Nicole leads CDFW’s CA-SSN biodiversity monitoring field team overseeing the installation and maintenance of monitoring equipment on 41 wildlife areas and ecological reserves across California. She has been working on this project since its inception in 2023 and has helped establish over 160 biodiversity monitoring plots. Prior to 2023, Nicole worked with the California Environmental Monitoring and Assessment Framework assisting with the refinement of the monitoring protocols that have been adopted by CA-SSN.
