Ryan serves as a Field Biologist with UC Davis, supporting the implementation of the California Sentinel Sites for Nature project (CA-SSN) across the UC Natural Reserve System. He graduated with honors from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2024, earning his B.S. in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Ecology, Evolution, Biodiversity, and Conservation. Ryan brings a strong background in coastal and aquatic ecology, with experience ranging from intertidal research on Pismo clams, to monitoring threatened shorebirds at Oceano Dunes, to supporting salmonid recovery with CDFW in Southern California.
